Our College is committed to balanced and broad-based curriculum through which every student can achieve his or her full academic potential. The curriculum is designed to enable the talented students to reach their best, and the modest students to discover their values.
The broad-based curriculum is in scope and in line with the National 9-3-4 system of education.
Our primary school, The Trinity Foundation School (TRIFOS) provides the first six years of Basic Education. The next lap of three years Basic Education (Basic 7 – 9) is done in TRICOL Junior Secondary at the end of which the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) is written.
Emphasis is on effective continuous assessment. The Cambridge Checkpoint Test is also written at the end of the Basic Education. After the nine years of Basic Education, a student proceeds to the next three years in the Senior Secondary School. At the end of the three years in Senior Secondary School, the student sits the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), conducted by the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) and the National Examination Council (NECO).
The College incorporates the British curriculum as well as the TOEFL and SAT, to equip the students for admission to schools in the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Canada.
TRICOL is a future-inclined College, passionate about its vision, building a bridge between who a child is today and his tomorrow.
